RFID Based Vehicle Barrier Control System
The RFID Based Vehicle Barrier Control System is an intelligent access control solution designed to manage vehicle entry and exit automatically using RFID technology. This system is ideal for parking areas, toll gates, residential societies, offices, and industrial facilities, ensuring secure and contactless vehicle authentication.
When an authorized RFID card or tag is scanned, the system verifies the credentials and automatically opens the barrier using a servo motor. Unauthorized vehicles are denied access, enhancing security and reducing manual intervention.
-
A vehicle approaches the barrier and scans an RFID card/tag
-
The RFID reader sends the ID to the microcontroller
-
If the ID is authorized:
-
The servo motor lifts the barrier
-
Indicator LED turns green
-
-
If the ID is unauthorized:
-
Barrier remains closed
-
Red indicator LED stays ON
-
-
After a short delay, the barrier automatically closes
